elZinc Advance® and elZinc Rainbow®: Zinc Roofs and Facades Against Wind and Tide

The selection of materials for buildings in coastal and marine environments has to be done very carefully. Besides the wind, humidity, salt, and atmospheric pollutants, constant exposure can greatly impact the performance and lifespan of roofs and façades. Thus, the right choice of material is very important to provide the building with durability, protection, and aesthetics that last for a long time.

Zinc roofing and façade materials of elZinc Advance® and elZinc Rainbow® have been developed as two high-end zinc ranges that can easily conquer these harsh conditions. They fuse the beauty of architecture with the long-lasting quality of the improved, making them the first choice for the very buildings that are corroded or near the sea.

Enhanced Protection for Marine Environments

In order to give more protection to zinc roofs and façades that are subjected to severe climatic conditions, elZinc® has introduced the finishes, elZinc Advance® and elZinc Rainbow®. These finishes are assigned to RC5, which is the highest corrosion resistance level in EN 10169:2010.

There is a 35-micron thick clear organic coating on both ranges, which functions as a protective layer. This coating not only enhances the weather resistance significantly but also reduces the adherence of salts and inorganic substances that can cause staining and corrosion, especially in coastal areas, thereby prolonging the life of the roofing and façade.

Proven Quality and Aesthetic Performance

elZinc Advance® and elZinc Rainbow® manufactured as zinc-titanium products rolled in compliance with EN988 are coated on the visible side with a transparent organic layer. This procedure not only protects the natural look of zinc but also increases its technical performance, thus making it more attractive to architects and construction designers.

These products are appropriate for a variety of roofing and façade applications where both durability and aesthetic considerations are the main criteria.elZinc Rainbow® – Standard Surface Finishes
